Rev.Fr.Sebastian Thermadom started this school in the commemoration of  renowned Bishop Rt. Rev.Francis Vazhapilly . In 1942, Ist (1117 Edavam 15)this high school came into being as a UP School in a leaf roofed building in the form of 41/2. Mr. E. A. Kochappu master was the first and formost  HeadMaster and Mr. P.K.Kunjuvareed Ukken glorified his name as the founder manager.Moreover many other eminent personalities worked fruitfully for the welfare of this establishment.

In the year 1946-47 efforts made to upgrade this UP School into High School. In this regard persons like Pallackal Mullayil Parameswara Menon , Puthirikkal Kannokkadan Chakkunny Kunju Vareed to be honoured and their service ornamented In 1949 the first S S L C batch passed out with 100% amazing victory. This High School reformed and developed meanwhile with the help and perseverance of managers and headmasters during the time being.
